Seeking sealant advice

I have some holes in my roof as well as some seams and pop rivet holes (from raising my roof) that need to be sealed.
I need to do seal and then paint over. I'm going to be using miller equiptment enamel paint. I'm looking for suggestions, testimonials, ect, on the most burly sealant I can afford.
Thanks in advance for any advice!

Re: Seeking sealant advice

Automotive seam sealer. Never fully hardens, and takes paint, heat, ect.

Next choice would be some good kitchen and bath, or Automotive silicone. Wipe down surfaces with 99% isopropyl rubbing alcohol, before calking. May or may not take paint.

Re: Seeking sealant advice

I've been using Supra Expert for sealing up my exterior. Works great! I tried GE's Silicone II as well, but I liked Supra better. It seems closer to the original caulking on the bus. Also, it comes in an arse load of colours and can be painted.

Most hardware/lumber stores have the stuff in stock in Ontario. Not sure about the rest of the country or the USA...

I decided to break the bank and put Avueco Seam Sealer on the roof seams 6 tubes ordered by Mill Supply
Then Eternabond 2 inch tape. ordered by Big Rock supply"]
[/URL]Will cost $150 all said and done

Still deciding on which paint for the roof.
Snow roof - premium 12 year warranty (2 coats, 5 gallons - $120)
Henry - many different options - the company says to go 100% silicon - HE887HS silicone roof coating and sealant $250 Home Depot product
of just another coat of Aluminized Roof Paint (I did a coat of this 18 years ago)
