"Short" bus or "Regular" bus?

Okay, I wasn't awake when I posted this question this morning and wound up putting it in the "coach" section (doh!).

I get to pick up the bus Wednesday. It's 24' long with a 12' wheel base. Is that considered a short bus? Would it matter if I chronicled the build in the "Skoolie Conversion Projects" section?

Hmmm-unless there is a "snob factor" over on the conversion side for buses under 72 passenger, I'd say its a regular bus. Us in the shorty section are usually in "large vans". But I hit "new posts" and read them all anyways--a good idea is a good idea-regarless of what size bus its put in.

Regular! Shorter than 72 pax is not necessarily "short".

I agree with the others - your bus is closer to a "regular" bus than it is to a "short" bus.

That's the same size as mine and everyone that has seen mine calls it a short bus...

Don't want to cause a fight, but it seems to me that calling the Van chassis based buses "shorty" and the other buses "regular" or "standard" would work.

Re: "Short" bus or "Regular" bus?

LOL! It's all good folks. I kinda agree with Lorna in principle, but when I first saw my bus, I thought, "Cool! I got a shortie!"

( erm... That didn't sound quite right, did it? )

However, it does have just as much interior space as BOB had, so I decided to stick with the 'regular' conversion list. You'll find me at "2012... the Year of Renewal" (see my tag for link).

Thanks for all the input!
