Should I remove/cover the upper lights?

Don't some states require that the upper lights for children crossing be removed or covered? Would I be better off just painting over them? Anyone have any ideas to share on how you handled this with your skoolie?

Also, the stop sign on my bus was converted by the previous owner to be a red fish that pops out, lol. There are no lights on or near the fish. Is this okay? Are there any laws on fish that jump outside the side of a bus?

every state is different about the stop sign.. normally just painting over the school lights is acceptable... you just have to look at requirements for your state (and maybe some you plan to travel in)...

I had mine completely pulled and welded over just because I wanted a clean look..
