Re: skinning the side and caulking...?

I used locktite brand of adhesive caulking. I don't remember for sure exactly which one. I used it when I reskinned the windows. Seems to be working good and no leaks. Still alittle flexable. Its been almost two years and 4000 miles. Got it at lowes.

Without pics, your bus doesn't exist.

It's still not working? I hadn't been there in a while.

Re: skinning the side and caulking...?

I used liquid nails at each point where I riveted 2 or more pieces of metal together. I did that more to keep rattling down than anything else. It seems to have worked pretty good.

Re: skinning the side and caulking...?

This is my plan... which may change....

I am going to rivet (more of them) and then drop in the windows which will probably need some square tubing and more rivets and will then pack the open areas where the windows were with polyiso sheet insulation then fir them out.

All of this hoping the sheet wont rattle?

What do you think

Re: skinning the side and caulking...?

Should there be some sort of caulking between the metal skins and also the skins and bus body?
