Skoolie Newbie Question

I have a 1995 Ford E350 25 Pax Goshen Coach with the Amber Idiot light on located on the dash near the door/light/fan switch panel that looks like the Gumball Light with the buzzer audible as well thats labeled "VAC" in the electrical compartment located above the drivers head.

What is it doing on and what is it for?

It could be indicating a vacuum leak (emissions), but the buzzer would surprise me. On another note, you may want to consider some punctuation. I found myself gasping for air after I read that sentence. I almost passed out. I COULD HAVE DIED!!!!

Jake, you do look a little blue in your avatar but I don't think it is because of the punctuation--more likely it is just a dirty filter.

Re: Skoolie Newbie Question

I have a 2000 Ford E450 Aerotech bus but mine doesn't have a "vac" light.

The 7.3L diesel engine has a vacuum pump which feeds the power brake booster and those pumps have a reputation for failing. If your dash brake warning light is coming on and/or you have to stand on the brake pedal to stop, that pump is likely your problem.

Probably best to just call Goshen and ask what that light is. http://www.goshencoach.com/
