Solar power vent fan

Standard house type bath fans move 50 to 380 CFM (cubic feet per minute). The one you linked to is 680 CFH (cubic feet per hour) which is about 11 CFM. I think it would work just fine because it would run all the time BUT only when the sun shines.

One like this is solar with a ni-cad battery to allow it to operate at night or cloudy days. I think you would be happier with a vent that can operate at night. It moves the same amount of air but 24/7.

I believe that the one I linked to can have the fan blade pulled and reversed. I want to put one in the bedroom and one up front at least. One in the shower area would be nice as well. Possibly one in the water closet as well. Since they are solar and require no wiring, all we have to do is pop a hole thru the roof/ceiling. I like that they have on/off switches and a battery back up. There will be times when we do not want them running and there will be times that we want them running at night. While I do not want big solar panels on the roof, I do think that the solar vents and a few solar exterior lights would suit us quite well.
