Steel Gauge For Roof?

What gauge steel should I get to cover the emergency hatch hole? I need it to flex slightly because the top of the bus is an arc.

At some point I will be putting in an AC unit.

Most bus skin is around 16 gauge. Plenty of flex for something like that.

If the metal doesn't easily want to take that shallow radius it is way too thick.

That's what my daddy taught me: If it don't fit , force it. If that don't work, get a hammer. If that don't work, get a bigger hammer. If that doesn't work, it's an electrical problem.
