Steering wheel change

The big steering wheels are not good for an old fat guy. On my Crown bus the steering shaft is specific to Crown. No other wheels will just slip on. The decision was made to convert to a GM spline. Currently, the wheel is a 15inch from a Camaro. Frank

Re: Steering wheel change

Wheel........ coupling was made to match the diameter of the new spline and the original shaft. This task was done a few years ago with very good results. I have now changed the wheel to a wheel from a Jeep, 1996, and it feels good. The wheel can be palmed nicely. Frank

Re: Steering wheel change

Maybe I'm weird...but I like the big International truck wheel on my Genesis. The B700 also had the big steering wheel, Ford's old 2-spoke truck wheel. With no power steering, the large diameter was a GOOD thing.
