Template

When fitting paneling against the many angles along the ceiling and down the wall, is there a fool proof way to create a template?

I doubt it would be foolproof on most buses even using one of those 3D laser scanners.

Here is what I went trough on the last few body panels...

Measure. Measure again. Cut an oversized cardboard template. Place and re-trim it. Glue it to some sheetmetal. Spray paint around the edges. Cut slightly over size. Place and trim with a grinder till it fits.
