This seems cheap?

Looking at buying a bus and converting, but found this 1998 36ft Thomas Built Bus

I am new too all this, but this seems pretty cheap, I can only assume there is something wrong with it?

What type of questions should I ask seller?

I like it, look for rust, tires, how's it run, etc.

My opinion it is way over priced, UNLESS you like it exactly like it is setup

Bus $4000
and the rest is $3500

Check dates on tires

def. need to go through the wiring an insure it is wired correctly, the panel just looks sloppy for some reason

Big question is, is this bus what you had in mind? Does it even compare to what you envisioned?

If its going to require a lot of rework to get it where you want it, its just not worth it.

I think to get turnkey asap, the price isn't bad...IF the drivetrain is healthy/tires/etc. Definitely a lot of labor already done, even if you tear some of it apart. Looking at the price hard re-usable components and some times savings...price seems realistic. Also realize, that's an asking price, not a sale price. You may walk away for 6500 on that...and if it's healthy and turnkey...that's pretty cheap. You won't get anything but a super beat, late 80's early 90's gasser Class A for that price.

Really like the back porch and the interrior layout, not congested or cluttered.

I like it .. nicely done it appears.. other than the inside is polar opposite of my style.. im city not country but it looks like they took some time with it...
