I can personally vouch for them since I worked on them. Unless otherwise noted, they run well, stop well, and are excellent candidates for conversions to skoolies. Best of luck!

Thanks for the head's up! you say that you worked on them, do you still work there? (and if so, do you have a "head's up" on a particularly nice bus?)
I'm hoping to do the flat nose, but really I just want to make sure I'm in the 35-40' range (78-84 pass)

what do you guys think of this one:
You are being redirected...
They're asking around 9k, think I could get them down to 7500 or 8k
Still seems a bit on the high side, right?

Looks like a $3500-$4500 bus to me.
I mean, yeah it looks like its a nice bus. But for that kinda $ I'd not settle for a 5.9.

JPM,
I worked there until earlier this month when I went to work for a school district just south of them paying $2/more per hour. The ones I preferred were #314 and #319. #234 was also an excellent runner.
They are BlueBird and International conventionals, 444E 7.3L engines with 643 transmissions and highway gears.
Hope this helps.

That age, those kind of miles, and that power package is not a $9K bus. A good deal would be in the $4K-$5K range.
The only thing going for it is it isn't painted yellow with black stripes.
Yes a professional paint job is about $5K but the $5K for that paintjob was spent a long time ago.

I paid $8K for an 03 model. That bus is 5 years OLDER and higher mileage. Again, try midwesttransit.com. Their buses are thoroughly checked out and ready to roll unless otherwise stated.
