tip to save you gas...

Hey guys, thot I'd share with you all a tip to save you on your skoolie gas usage. Easy to do. but does take a bit of time. took me 4 hours to remove some 46 years of dirt built up from in the frame rails and other "hidy hole"places. I couldnt believe the pile of gravel and such that was hiding . Also doing this will add years of life to your bus... and thats always a good thing.

Re: tip to save you gas...

Heyyaz...I found 1/4 of that pile, on top of the gas tank, between it and the floor. all the rest was in the frame rails and tie downs from the bus body to the frame. amazingly enough, no real signs of rust damage. seems just a bit of wire brushing and she be good enough for paint...

OHOH....my cat is eye ballen that pile of sand an dirt. best go and spread it out over the parking lot, before she turns that pile, into "her personal potty"

Re: tip to save you gas...

Well I'm glad my "tip" has helped some1...I know it seems kind of an obvious 1, but if there are others out there who are excited bout working "inside" the bus (like me), just may over look the "under"..and its a good way to closely inspect and evaluate the under carriage, either for damage or for running lines or cutting or what have you. Me personaly, I like everything to be neat n clean an painted. MAKE'R ALL PERDY

I hope you're happy with yourself! You just screwed up a 50 year scientific dirt test with only four years left. Now they have to start all over!
