Towing?

I was wondering if anyone had any experience with AAA and towing these things? I have AAA Plus RV so that it covers my cargo and toy trailers, which I would assume also covers the "Converted" Bus.

Boy I sure hope so, I have it as well with that thought in mind, but I have been fortunate in never having had to test it out

I have USAA and they said they will cover a 1 ton van chassis short bus, but nothing larger as it is considered a commercial vehicle. It is not designated as RV insurance though.

I have emergency roadside through State Farm, but I will have to call and ask what the cap is on it. I've had to use the passenger car equivalent before for my truck and it was great.

My only complaint about State Farm is that you pay up front (hello credit card) and then turn in a receipt for reimbursement. They've always cut me a check right away, but it is one more thing to do. The advantage? I don't have to sit and wait for or try and find a AAA approved tow company that can handle a MDT.

Prices for a tow on these things often ranges in the area of $250 hook up and $2.50 per mile ROUNDTRIP so I can't see NOT having insurance.
