Type D deck height ? Thomas or BB

I can't find any dimensions for the deck height, Ground to deck or skirt to deck would be nice. I made a rough 3D model using the plans posted here http://farm3.staticflickr.com/2851/9...d440995d_c.jpg
but they are so low res that ti can't read the dimensions so I scaled it off 42" tire size but still lack interior dimensions. I think the drawing posted in not to scale though because i used typical head clearance to set my floor and it is above the wheel wells...

If anyone has a somewhat accurate 3d model i can import to SolidWorks id appreciate it and will return the gesture.

im not familiar with solidworks, but googles' skecthup has many scale models of bus that you can import.

maybe there is a file converter that would get it into solidworks?

idk

good luck!

91 Bluebird AARE

Ground to deck 40"
Ground to skirt 21"
Ground to bottom of basement 13"
Ground to bottom of entry door 12"
Ground to bottom of front bumper 15"
Ground to bottom of rear bumper 20"

I use Sketchup, but I didn't do the outside. This is my original drawing, final layout is surprisingly close. Shower is home made so, it's different and bigger. Seating area on pass side across from computer desk isn't done but, it won't really look like that. Dining area doesn't have a booth, it has a counter along driver side with two chairs.

Thank you. Are you using 42" tires for the [Ground to deck 40"]
or do you know the bottom of skirt to stock deck measurement?

Another measurement i couldn't find is rise and run of steps which would give me the correct deck height.

From what i have read there is no simple direct conversion from non-standard Sketchup formats to [no offense meant] professional CAD programs such as Solidworks. It really sucks that Google did that because it turns people off from wanting to use Sketchup when they learn its limitations.
