Unrelated Race News

The sirens are blaring on the roof of The Dawsonville Poolroom. My buddy and hometown boy Chase Elliott, son of Winston Cup Champ Bill Elliott, just took his first Cup win at Watkins Glen in a nail biter of a finish. Congrats to him, he truly deserves it.

Gotta love NASCAR!

A sport where the athletes still appreciate the fans.

Really, i often wonder what would happen to a fan at a Cup race if he took a knee. I guarantee he would not enjoy the race.

That is great for Chase! I don't follow it anymore like i used to. Haven't been to a race since they took the fall race from AMS.

Awesome Bill from Dawsonville... Not a fan of the road courses but that was fantastic finish.
