I dont know alot about propane fridges but I do know that it is possible for sewer gas to be flammable.

Vent it thru the roof!!! The space behind the fridge is not sealed so the oders would spread throughout the bus....

i have a large size 3 way frig, and it only gets fairly warm, not hot, in the area behind the frig and at the inside roof height. The heat from the sun on the inside skin is actually much hotter on a warm day, so if it were mine, i wouldnt worry too much about it. BTW, i also have a inside layer of insualtion attached to the inside roof skin.
