I've been thinking about disconnecting the Webasto from the engine lines and
isolating the coolant lines from the Webasto to the rear heaters. This would basically be two separate systems. The defrosters would still run off of the engine coolant.
The rear heaters could be run while the bus was underway, but then also run while it is stopped for cabin heat. Separating the two systems would allow you to heat up the cabin without having to heat up the engine.
In addition to the Webasto, I also have an electric heater block heater that I think is on the bottom of the oil pan (but not sure).
Thoughts?

You could, with strategic placement of valves, leave it so you could run the heaters when the engine is running and use the wwbasto when the engine isn't... And still heat the block on the off chance you find yourself in a cold climate.
