Anyone who does a similar project... please remember the CHECK VALVE
Because we sit still, the paper/poo does not slosh around and break up like when traveling down the road. A flusher (with CHECK VALVE
) would be great to have and we will add one when we build a new black tank. The new black tank will also not have our current problem... a 3" outlet that reduces to a 2.5" gate valve. Gate valve is great, the reduction isn't. 2.5" isn't a problem, the reduction is. But we knew the black tank was only to be used until we built a new tank.
As for 65 PSI.... been in many campgrounds with low water pressure. Keep that in mind when setting up a tank flush system.
