Nice looking motorhome you have there. Sticks and staples crowd are jealous--you don't have to pay for yours every month.

Re: we went camping

That's part of the reason I wanted a flat faced bus (and I just really like the looks of the BlueBirds). Have you seen the Seneca Class C. They have some that look more like a dog nosed bus with a cabover. We call them Class C's on steroids. Do they not look an awful lot like a dog nosed skoolie? With a little cosmetics and jewelry (lights) it could look close. Google some images of the Seneca Class C's and look at them. they just look suspiciously like skoolies... especially the "new" skoolies.

Re: we went camping

was suppose to head out this weekend and do some bush camping, but got called in to work instead , the weather was nice all day saterday, but around 8 pm it started to rain, thennnnnn snowwww!!!, it lasted a few hours , when I got up this morning it was gone but now as I type this and lookout out the window I see a few flakes, this is just a warning of what is about to come, oh well. some day we will be going south for the winters, till then Im tuning up the snow blower.

Re: we went camping

Hey GB - how did that portable AC unit work out for you? I'm thinking of going that route myself.

the a\c worked great, its only a 9000btu, and in 80' heat it kept up, you had to keep the curtains closed, and door closed (to the rear of bus). when we used it while driving it was ok, but I did find it a bit warmer then when we are parked. the rear a\c is only 5000 btu, and it worked well for the back half of the bus. both can run off my 3000 watt generator inverter. its a bit goofy looking, but I still think its better then putting a hole in the roof. some of the portables have two hoses in take\exhaust. that would mean 2 holes in the side of the bus. I like just 1.
