Wen 2000w Inverter Generator for $385

As I'm getting closer to getting a bus and trying to figure out boondocking, electrical, and the like, I'm paying more attention to things like this.

I have no experience with it, but it gets great reviews.

I love woot. from reading the comments I found it even cheaper on ebay. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Wen-56200I-Super-Quiet-2000-Watt-Portable-Inverter-Generator-Carb-Compliant/202368613058?hash=item2f1e1bfac2:g:VqEAAOSwOaBbSIh ~~

I think I am going to buy 2 and get a parallel kit!

Any concerns that seller is only selling a large quantity of this item and nothing else? And has no relevant feedback as a seller?

That was my worry when I looked at the Ebay listing.

If you decide to buy one on eBay, let us know how it goes.

I saw about 50 other listings in the $200 range and they have all been removed. not a good sign! But I'm tempted to give that one a shot. The listing is different enough and its coming from a domestic address...

I see the same generator at Home Depot for $448.

It has good reviews. Average 4.6 with 202 reviews.

What the hell I put in an order. if I get it for $200 that's great, If I don't then I get my money back in a couple days.

I jumped on one also considering the others listed are $500-$600. At worst I get my money back. He has only feedback for sports clothing/shoes. Maybe he swiped a pallet of these, says he's sold 13 of them so far out of 24.

Did you contact them first or was the email unprompted by you?

They pulled the listing right after my order.

The email i got from ebay was unprompted. The money in paypal was unclaimed so I just cancelled the payment from there.

Off the Woot, but still on generators. I am hoping that my 2 paralleled 2000watt Champions will work for my needs. Don't cherish spending more $ on something I already have. If memory serve me right (and that's a big if), they have about 3500, combined.
Should work, unless I go with a lot more stuff than plan.

You mean I shouldn’t buy that 2018 Dodge Charger Hellcat for $3500

Dog gone it

One of our local sheriffs just got caught purchasing one of those as his personal "patrol car", county caught on and are making him come out of pocket to reimburse the budget ($70K).
