I have wine. And homemade whiskey. And hard apple cider.

I also have ribs, grassfed beef, PIZZA, and sweet tater fries. PARTY AT MY PLACE! Go easy on the crawfish, I had to wring someone's neck just to get it!

Re: What colour to paint rims?

Thanks to all for the compliments. I love the fireplace. So many people are shocked and/or amazed that we have a fireplace in our bus (and a shower, toilet, washer & dryer, etc). My goal is to make the bus a homey, relaxing place to live in. I don't want it to look like an "RV", if you understand what I mean. I also want to show people that you don't need to have your conversion look like an RV and you don't have to use RV stuff.

Can't wait to get my hands on a bus for Das Mel.... I'm thinking..... Bohemian Southern Gypsy Vardo!

Aaaaaaaaaaaand I just lost control of my bus to my mother. You know I already have colours picked out, right? You can't change them. Mum? Mum, put away the paint deck. Stop it. Moooooooooooom!

And this was the moment my mother embraced the name Gypsy Rose as the name for my bus.

I can still have seashells in there, right?

ugh...you realize a few things right?

I ugh, we or you have hijacked momma's shiat and heads will roll like in Juarez...
if and when your bus is "made cool" you don't have any word in it....period; we (your mum's) will build your adobe as WE (the internet and home depot) see fit!!!

so I say say lets start a new thread "Mel's bus" I really want a turquoise and gold trimmed tub area, it will so match cheese and crackers

also a fireplace and cat relaxation area...so you can pet them

and ,maybe a baking area...after tacos and whiskey.....cinnamon honey buns whould be the bomb

Bansil, I don't think you need any more whiskey. It sounds like you've already had plenty.

Re: What colour to paint rims?

I agree with Bansil. We should organize the "Design Mel's Bus Committee" and vote on every last detail. Bansil can have his beige and gold color scheme but I propose an all-animal print exterior look with moose horns on the hood.

Re: What colour to paint rims?

Been visiting Das Mel since Thursday night. Using the all-in-one bathroom is getting old fast. Climbing over David everything I have to go use the all-in-one bathroom is getting VERY old VERY fast. While I love seeing the girls. I'm ready to go home, use my own roomy bathroom and sleep in my own island bed! It was their birthday on Sunday so we used my vacation to come over here and visit.
