When I was a kid, my fathers' 1933 Studebaker coupe had a gasoline fired heater under the dash.

Scary...but hot!

We are installing a wood stove and a rerouting the original bus heater. This way we can heat for free with wood when we are stopped and we can heat using the buses coolant while we are driving.

Just FYI, Tractor Supply Company sells propane. And they are open more hours and days than most places that sell it. They are a bit more expensive than my local gas company though at $2.99/gl compared to $2.09/gl. But if it's this cold and I need propane, I'll gladly pay the $.90 premium.
