What is your biggest deal-breaker from this list?

I want to know what experienced bus guys have to say about this. Choose your biggest deal-breaker from this list.

"I WOULD SOONER BUY ANY OTHER BUS RATHER THAN ONE THAT HAS:"

All of the above.

I wanted a late 1990s to early 2000s 40' RE with an overdrive transmission, air brakes, highway gears, no rust and either an 8.3 or DT466.

I did not consider any bus that did not meet spec.

There are plenty of good buses out there. Don't settle for one that doesn't fit your needs.

I don't have any ABSOFREAKINLUTELY must haves, just an idea of an ideal spec.

I'm willing to compromise, but remain aware that the further I drift from the ideal, the bigger the compromise.

There comes a point where I will just say no, because I'm in no hurry and there is no shortage of buses to buy.

My deal-breaker list:

1. Rust.
2. Emissions equipped.
3. Undesirable length (I have limited parking space).
4. Undesirable brake system (I am accustomed to air brakes, and my driveway is not flat, I want maximum holding power).
5. Undesirable transmission.
6. Undesirable engine (I compromised on this).
7. Undesirable rear-axle ratio (I compromised on this, and of all the things on the list, it's probably the easiest to change).

Not on the list was height, since it was a non-issue for me.

Nothing if I like it; everything can be fixed/replaced.
