What Kw/$ averages are you getting with Solar?

The best I've found is $1.02/watt on CivicSolar.com , a site reccomended to me by a solar installation company here in Austin. But that's excluding shipping, which in some cases can be as much as the panels.

I found a seller on eBay selling for around $1.04/watt, so I may go with him, but the panels seem super cheap.

Grape solar and other similar companies seem to charge $1.50/watt

Just seeing what resources you guys have dug up!

look on local craigslist. I pay about $.70/watt for the panels I buy.

Well I've been looking on Craigslist but no luck for months. But you inspired me to look around on other cities and sure enough I found a guy selling 100w panels for $55 a piece!

Amazon is at $1.35 a watt for 12 volt 100 watt panels. Not the best price per kw but its the best I have seen for 100 watt panels.

There are definitely great prices on the internet, but shipping is a killer. There are enough pallets coming into Denver for a healthy market to exist selling leftovers, etc from big commercial installs. Learned this from the guy I work with who used to be an installer. He talked about warehouses full of older, brand new panels that won't get installed because they arent the newest technology or are an unpopular size and so many people want only the newest and what they perceive as best.

There's a seller on eBay selling two 160 watt panels for $323. Plus $40 shipping. That was what I was going for until I found this deal
