Me...I just cut a notch out of one to help fit my bath & potty. Could probably have gone flat across the top but the idea of some off roading kept me conservative.
Nicely done! My bus is at the welders right now to get the wheel wells patched, I think I'll stop by and see what he's doing tomorrow.. might mention this to him..
Measure twice, cut once. My bus has 22.5" wheels/tires that are above the floor line at parked. If I went to the smaller 19.5, they would still be above the floor line.
1. Measure from the top of the tire to the inside of the well
2. Then measure how much travel is possible from the axle to the "stop". Allow another half inch for hard compression and you should have the upper most travel limit for the tire. From there you can see how low you can go.
