Wheelchair lift

Hello everyone!

I was informed that most individuals that get a school bus with a wheelchair lift (and don't have a use for it) send it off in the garbage.

As a Disabled Veteran I Depend on my wheelchair quite a bit lol.
Unfortunately the bus that was donated to my wife and I did not come with one and buying one is quite a ways away from being affordable for us. I was under the impression that the VA would provide one, and they would have, if it wasn't a schools bus.

My question to my new silicon family is,

If you have one and plan to trash it, would you be willing to let me put it to use in my bus?

I know someone from Washington but I'm not sure if he would be willing to help. If you don't have plans to yank it out yet then I would appreciate some time to work out other alternatives. It would cost me double in fuel to drive up there than it would to buy a used one. However, if I can find someone wanting to ship something I might be able to get the fuel payed for and I'd already be there lol.
