e-bay under buss. i live in n.w. oregon and i bought a bus at WESTERN BUS SALES in boring oregon. its by portland. they got all shapes ,sizes and years. ( http://www.westernbus.com ) is there web site.

You should look on Ebay, the state of oregon has an ebay account (http://stores.ebay.com/Oregon-Surplus-Property-II) sometimes they have buses. You might also want to consider a shipping container. I know a guy that converted one into a nice apartment. You can get them in the size of a bus. They are cheaper in Oregon with all the ports.

Lane county recently dumped a bunch of Gillig Phantoms that were in good shape. You migth want to give them a call and see if they have any plans to dump some more.

Since you are looking for a bus that does not run I would not bother with a dealer since they will cost more.

Another source is publicsurplus.com which has listings for Govt agencies only...city, state, fed, schools & transit authoties etc... Has more than just bus too, computers etc... I bought my bus via this online auction....
