Water pressure can vary from location to location. I've tested pressures up to 95 psi at a residence which could potentially burst a thin-wall tank if the opened outlet wasn't large enough.

The other thing for me is I might mount a couple of them (the pvc pipes) vertically with an "air valve" to add compressed air so I can create enough water pressure as to not need a 12v or 120v pump at times. Lots of possibilities.

Guess a tanks a tank but I appreciate all the input. The abs idea isa pretty cool idea, I plan on putting the tank or tanks under my bed as it gets f###### cold here. Nothing to complicated easy to get too. Oh to build one of these where it doesn't get cold

If ever in colder climate I would keep fresh water above the floor to prevent freezing.

Good Vendor in Indiana USA

I located a NSF ANSI STD61 certified water tank at classAcustoms.com. 42 gal that fits my location, $99. US shipped to my door in Texas USA. I would assume they would ship to a more northern state. They also have a good price on other tanks. They specialize in catering truck equipment. No bull just customer service.

I bought a pair of 55 gallon food grade plastic drums for $5 each in St Louis last month. They were previously used to hold apple cider vinegar. Now I've got 110 gallons of water storage hanging from my frame. I spent far more in PVC fittings than in the barrels themselves.

Sojourner used 55gallon poly barrels. Check out his build thread.

I see those (good grade) on CL for $10-$15 regularly.
