will I need metric or standard tools for my 1998 Bluebird bu

I am getting ready for my flight to Maryland to pick up my 1998 bluebird bus and drive it back to michigan. Should I be putting togethor a metric or standard tool set?

Probably both. It is not uncommon for the chassis to be one and the body to be the other.

both....alot of 1/2 in and 9/16.... and 12 and 11 metric is most what i have used
to disassemble the exterior panels and a little interior ....mirrors etc....

The old rule of thumb for American cars is anything that physically screws into the engine is standard and everything else is metric. Of course this has changed in recent years becoming more and more metric. You can get a pretty darn handy and complete Craftsman set of standard and metric for ~$160 so it wouldn't be a bad idea to have both.
