Window glazing

I came across an article (http://www.voltscommissar.net/docs/84doubleglazing.pdf) on how to do double glazing on windows (I also looked up secondary glazing). Would it be impractical to do this with bus windows? I love having all my windows to see out of/for sunlight but I worry about insulation since we will be full timing. If I could adapt it to bus windows I would have to do it inside on the bottom and outside on the tops so I could still open my windows. I'd also have to figure out screens. Anyway, anyone done this, heard of it, or have any ideas about it?

Re: Window glazing

Basically, that's a permanently attached, sealed storm window. Should do pretty much what the guy said it will. Adding some privacy window film will also cut down on the heat gain in summer.

Several conversions here have cobbled up screens.

Re: Window glazing

Yes. That's what I was going for. Less temperature leakage in cold or hot. That and more sound dampening. What I was hoping to find out is if anyone has tried to do anything similar or if you think it would work well in a bus? Do you think it's a good idea?
