Re: wiper motors
I work in the parts dept for a Ford heavy truck dealer, give me the part number and I'll try looking them up on Monday and see if it's something that is still available... The number that is on the actual part will be an engineering number, not the actual part number. But I can look up the engineering number and find out what the original number is, and any numbers that supercede it...
If they are still available, I can also use the dealer locator to see who has them...nationwide. so give me a city name too!

Re: wiper motors
Will see what I can come up with. Being that old will likely not find anything but who knows.
And while your Chevy has a Ford wiper motor, if I can find it, then it will be through Sterling Trucks whih is a Freightliner subsidiary, and their parent company is Diamler/Benze...

Re: wiper motors
NAPA has access to an amazing amount of parts, thy may have to special order vintage parts, but they can get them.

Re: wiper motors
The short answer is "Part number unknown" is what I'm getting from Ford and from Sterling/Freightliner... Long answer is still in the works, I've got our top "Vintage Parts" guy working on that, he's been in the business 41 years and if it can be found, he can fnd it. He also told me the reason you have Ford wiper motor in the Chevy Bus is because the wipers are installed by the body manufacturer not the chassis manufacturer. As such you can wind up with anything in there!
Just in case you can't find what you are looking for, you might try ebay, I've found plenty of stuff on there... I've been looking at replacing my "Air Wiper Motors" with electric ones, I spotted THESE and he also has a Wiper Control also...
