1945 International Harvester Bus in las vegas Crags list

This is not my bus, I just thought I would put it out there for any one interested in a project.

I know nothing about this

I wonder what going on with Tango's project... RIP Don.
That would be a helluva start for a guy like you to build a wicked bus-rod.

I wonder too about Don's bus. Hope someone is doing something with it. This one reminds me of his.

I think a 6BT would in this one pretty nice. My truck is about done.. rust, so will soon have an engine to use.

Whatever happened to HazMatt? Didn't he go to visit Tango and then disappear?

Tango asked me about taking on his project shorty afyter his diagnosis. honestly my issue is that I dont have a shop space.. I wouldve loved to continue it.. although I may have taken it in more of a "bus" direction and less RV.. I just have no indoor space available.. and tango's project required indoor space..

Yes he did disappear, no idea what happened. I sent him some private messages and no response.

Problem on these old builds (even newer ones) Is they are very personal. This is great for the person building it, but when it is time to sell not so great. The 45 International is a clean slate. Tango's is not , for me the automatic would have to go, and I would want the 6BT instead of the 4BT, although his body would not fit the 6 very well. So really great build, fantastic workmanship, but not my dream bus. The 45 International is my dream bus. But my 71 really is great too.

thing for me is a bus that old isnt really my dream bus.. 2 Busses are my dream bus. A superior with a 392 IH loadstar.. and I own one of those now.. and an A/C'd fishbowl.. and I'll find one of those... there are still a decent amount out there..

in a way all bus conversions, esp if they were built to Full-time in are pretty personal in design.. after all just like when someone has a house built, its built for them.. some of the builds on here that are a couple-week a year RV, look more like an RV in nature and are more "portable" to be sold to another..

craigslist ad has not responded. I like the fishbowls too, will let you know if I come across one.

We are about two months of a year in ours, a home away from home.
