1985 GMC 24 foot Carpenter
I have a 1985 GMC Carpenter bus conversation. The bus has already been converted, but was done as a dry camper. It is a GM 7.4 Big Block Gas bus. It starts and runs good, clear Texas Title, and has already been re Titled as a private bus. The tires do have flat spots on them from sitting, the bed has full storage under it. The bus only has 35,415k miles on it. The bus was bought new for a Church in Springfield, Il. It was then bought by Boy Scouts of America, then sold to the guy who converted the bus, He was a local car dealer mechanic. The bus did have a wheelchair lift before he converted it, so it has a nice area under the bus to add a generator, propane storage, ect. The bus battery box has room for a couple more batterys, as the bus only uses one battery to run on. Also the bus comes with a new spare water pump and new spare starter. I took the bus on a trade for a dump truck. I had plans of adding a fresh water holding tank, a grey water tank, sink, and outdoor shower to the bus. I removed the bed and the garage area in the bus and moved the bed to the back of the bus also adding the under bed storage. Due to the line of work I do, I had to have something completely ready to go and in a short time, so I bought a 5th wheel. Now the wife said the bus has to go and I hate to see it just sit and rot away. I am asking $6500 for the bus, come buy it and make it your own. I am Located in Amarillo, Texas.
