I don't think your off on the price, The $2500 flat nose bus is almost impossible to find nowadays...heck scrap is at 11.00 a hundred so at 16k = $1760 plus sell tires (if good dates and tread ~125/150 each) and engine /trans etc

If you have the time to go to an auction and find one and bid on it, good luck

were I got mine they were actually stripping a couple down and scrap was 11.50 a hundred he said they get almost 4 grand when they part them out...I believe it

On one hand you have folks who think their bus is worth huge bucks like the $14,9000 one listed on ebay (you can buy a 1979 crown that looks identical for less). On the other hand you can bid on this newer one which is partially converted and starting out much lower.

I think you get better prices on craigslist as a buyer.

My mom always use to say, if you don't have anything nice to say than please don't say anything at all.

On a better note....
We tried Craig's list ... It is full of scammers trying to hack in to pay pal accounts. If we don't sell it to some one who wants to give it some TLC, than we will part it out. After calling around we would make more doing it that way, but we hate to see that done to a reliable bus.

Oh, I am so sorry that I hurt your feelings. Just out of curiousity, what did you pay for the bus in the first place? Less than what you are asking for the bus now I'll bet. And you used it for how long? And what you did does not add value to the bus. Gotta go work on my multimillion dollar skoolie conversion!

Thats a 12v Cummins, you could get $4000 for that alone if its good. You'd do much better parting it out. Just my $.02

We hate to part with it, the motor home has been nothing but a headache. Unfortunately, we did not have enough time or $ to redo the bus to fit

If the Bus is solid and ya love it, and the motorhome is a hunk'a junk'a and a pain in the assitude and ya hate it, then why dun'cha keep the big beastie and salvage parts outta the Motorhome Of Doom+1+6 and scrap the motorhome? That way ya keep your Big Red (gottdangit, Laddie-Buck, now I want gum!) and ya get rid of the stix-n-staples.

Nooo--basically you are buying just what he said it was-a race hauler. Put your stuff it it + go to the track. Have a place to change + get out of the sun or rain when needed. Then go home. I totally understand-I had a cube van for 20 years doing the exact same thing. 80% of the space was for hauling race bike (then race car)-and 20% was for an inflatable air matress-a few cabinets to store supplies-Coleman grill-coolers. Life was good.
Now I'm older-and the wife wanting more creature comforts, 80% is for living + 20% is shop. (and tow a trailer-something I've always been against.)

I love the roll up door idea-and have a sore back just looking at getting the Vmax up that skinny ramp waaay up that high.
