1991 Bluebird TC2000, 5.9 Cummins 6BT / Allison Trans

$2000 OBO, fix it up as an RV or use the motor for another project! Located in Flemington, NJ

1991 Bluebird TC2000 with 5.9 Cummins 6BT. VE-rotary style fuel pump. Air brakes. Allison 5 speed automatic transmission. Steep highway gearing in the DANA 17,000 lb. rear. Strong runner, holds 70mph towing. Leaks oil. Worn body, but no rust.

225K-250K mileage guesstimate.

Originally specced as an Army base transport bus. Used in Florida 10 years, South Dakota 16 years. Has two Trans/Air AC units, not working.

Just completed a drive from South Dakota to New Jersey towing a 15-passenger van, no issues except for adding oil.

Have video of the bus starting and driving if interested.

Thanks!

No, the trans has not been changed since we've owned it in SD (16yrs). Allison made 5 and 6 speeds since 1982.

We'll look next time we have a chance to climb under there but you may be correct that it's a 4speed. Per Google, it should have an AT545.
