Funny story on this bus...

I won it on ebay. I rented a car (in Dayton, Ohio) - took the day off work along with a buddy, went to 422 Sales north of Pittsburgh, PA with my cash in hand as requested. They SOLD #153 even though I had been in contact with them to make sure I was buying the bus in the picture. They sold it out from under me even though I had over $300 wrapped up in GETTING to PA to pick it up!

I WOULD NEVER - EVER RECOMMEND DOING BUSINESS WITH 422 SALES FOR A SKOOLIE. THE WHOLE LOT OF BUSSES WERE CRAP!!!!!!! DAMAGED, BROKEN, LEAKING, AND DIRTY!!!!

All "Earl" could say was "...sorry"

I left empty handed and drove the 300 miles back

Actually Smitty - it crossed my mind. I was furious, but mostly bummed. This bus was gonna be perfect for my project! LOTS of under-bus storage.

But, alas, it was not to be. And I heard banjos playing in the woods and I think the pit bull and toothless mechanic were ready for me to jump ol' Earl. So I decided that this was not the bus and that I'd find the right one soon....

All true story - had to share since I saw this posted on here. I couldn't believe it.
