Sorry, its a bummer, but virtually NO Crowns this far east. I've never even seen one in the flesh.

As to starting a new topic- well, that's up to you.
I'd say since your quest is to be so EPIC, you may as well.
There are some REAL Crown enthusiasts here.
IF you decide to make an offer on one of those for $8000, maybe use your location as a bargaining point.
Offer something less, the worst they can say is no.
Those sound like really sweet buses. Are the Detroits in them turbocharged? I'd imagine they are.
I really recommend a turbo.

Maybe Brant or Cowlitz will chime in, they both know a lot about buses and especially crowns.

I'll start a new topic as soon as I got time to do so.
And thanks for the advise, I'll try to get it a bit cheaper.

Do you have any idea about the 1974 Crown's?
One of those would be 40 years old and tax free.
Are they good? Are they affordable?

Thanks for the help so far, I feel really welcome in this community.

Bryce.

Used Crown Bus. For sale at BusWest Preowned.

This one is already sold but it sure looks awesome!
And it's from 1974 so it will be tax free.
No need to register it as a truck.

Yeah, one of the guys on another forum bought it and drove it to Ohio for a roof raise conversion. He got a SWEET deal.

Bryce, If you need help with inspecting those Crowns, I have a close friend, Chuck, from World of Tanks, in Marysville, California, about 30 minutes from this guy's lot. As a matter of fact we drove by the lot as we were going to Wasco, CA to get my Thomas. I can ask Chuck if he'd be willing to help. He's a good mechanic and an awesome friend.

Let me know what you're thinking. If I can be of further assistance please let me know.

Yeah he bought himself an awesome bus!

That sure sound's good to me M1031, thanks for offering!

I really need / want to sell my racing stuff now so I can get started, I also need to find myself a place to live in it.
Let me work this out first before contacting him.
I've send about a dozen emails to campings in my area, only got two of them replying.
Think I have to take a day off and drive by some campings and scout for some farms where I might have a chance the owners will let me stay.
It's hard to get time for that if I keep working 7 day's a week from 18.00 till 06.00.
Let me take some time to figure this all out and we'll keep in touch!
