1996 Thomas-International School Bus RV conversion project
This is a stalled RV conversion project looking for someone to finish her. Sadly, I no longer have the time nor the space to continue this project.
The bus itself is a Thomas-built intermediate size bus outfitted for special needs use and is based on an International 3800 T444 truck chassis in excellent mechanical condition. This bus was in service until March of 2017 according to its state of Georgia inspection sticker and has only 220K miles. (Busses in Georgia must be taken out of service after 20 years regardless of condition or mileage.) It is equipped with a Ford Powerstroke diesel engine and air brakes. In order to operate the chair lift (now removed) it has three commercial truck batteries. Starts, runs, and drives great.
RV conversion additions: Atwood 3-burner LP gas range, Moen stainless steel sink and faucet, Tripp Lite 3000 watt inverter, LED overhead lighting, 400W Kenwood stereo with 8 speakers and Bluetooth connectivity, 20 gallon fresh water tank with pump.
Many extras included with sale including uninstalled hot water heater and cushions intended for the bench seat which was never built.
Interior woodworking uses only high-grade wood and fasteners. Everything is screwed/nailed and glued where possible.
Located in a storage yard near the intersection of Delk Road and I-75 in Marietta, GA. Clean and clear title in hand. $5900.
Partial or full trades considered. Hit me up with your idea!
