1997 Thomas Pusher conversion, Whiteville TN
1997 Thomas Bus Conversion – Great RV Conversion or Tiny House
32 foot Thomas diesel pusher school bus conversion. The roof has been raised one foot, and the bus windows replaced with RV style windows. This bus has everything you need.
The Bus: 1997 Thomas school bus with Cummins 5.9 Turbo Diesel with about 60,000 miles on engine and Allison transmission. 3 new Series 31 batteries. Tires are good, air brakes, receiver hitch on back to pull trailer or other vehicle.
The camper conversion: 2 roof AC units, 60 gallon water storage, black water tank, gray water tank, Propane hot water heater, toilet, full size shower, 2 flat screen TV’s, electric refrigerator and microwave, two burner propane stove, kitchen sink, RV door with screen door, 30 amp shore power when parked, and 5500 watt gas generator when rolling or boondocking.
Tongue and groove pine covering ceiling and walls, sleeper sofa and recliner in living area, full size bed in bedroom. There were 3 additional bunk beds which we converted to storage, but bunks would be easy to put back in place. Bus has both 12v and 110 interior lighting. Lots of storage inside and out.
You have to see this bus to believe it. This bus really draws attention.

The nicest and most complete conversion ive seen up for sale. Price is much more realistic than some of these clowns trying to sell their heaps for 15 or 20 grand.

Thanks. I didn't do the work, a Mennonite family in KY did the conversion. Most of the receipts came with the bus. I don't have anywhere near the skills needed for the conversion.

Newbie here...stepping out of the shadows to comment. Good looking conversion. Do you have the contact information for the family who did the conversion? I know will need some help but KY is close to me (central ohio).
Unfortunately I have to wait to link up a place to put a converted bus... and I know this one will gone quickly. Good luck with the sale!

this reminds me of those "to good to be true" Craigslst ads where you can buy a 2014 ski boat for $2800....
Great looking unit, and price seems extremely fair... it shouldn't sit long.
love the colors and the detail!

I'd buy that TODAY if I
A- had the money
B- didn't already have a bus project
I still lowball bid on the occasional bus, but other than that I'm spent till this one is done.
Beautiful rig, though.
