We're starting to waver on wanting to sell this shorty.
We'll leave it listed, but in a couple weeks we plan to start doing some work on it if its still here.
Its just such a nice riding bus, and we love the size.

I have a six window and love the size! Easy to drive and always have a parking spot somewhere. Fifteen feet of usable space behind the drivers seat. Love the bus!

With air ride and a 4.10 rear end, this bus rides real nice out on the open road.
Yeah, my favorite size buses are 5-8 windows.

find someone's take-off Air-conditioner mayube for free or next to free.. a zillion 444E's were made with A/C so a salvage yard compressor bracket and pulley..

update to a 2000 series 5 speed.. Kubla got his used with a TCM and connectors.. he is having his harness made but we could probably make one.

then that shorty would have the main features other than the DT-466.

I'll buy it if you swap the DT466 from the other bus in it. I just missed-out on a shorty 466- and I'm looking for the SOB who bot my bus...

I was high bidder on the one in NY but its too rusty to bid any higher and it tops out at 55. They refuse to tell me what the rear axle ratio is, and the vin brings up no useful info.
NY to FL at 55 sounds horrible.

Its so weird selling stuff on CL. A million responses of "is the bus still for sale" and they NEVER ask anything else when you tell them "yes it is".

Most of the emails I get seem to come from actual "buyers" but they don't reply to any email responses.
Just a constant "is the bus still for sale?"

Now the mopeds I sell on CL- those attract ALL the scammers!

I've got a KILLER vintage ten speed with your name on it next time I see you.
You NEED this bike, I won't take no for an answer. It needs a good home, and I think its perfectly sized for you. A vintage Miyata triathlon ten speed. I wish like HELL it had a frame that fit me. Its the raddest bicycle I've ever owned.

You'd probably like my main ride. A 1958 Western Auto Flyer. Fat tires, full tank with...dual headlights!

One speed is all you need.

My main bike since 1996 has been an old 1979 Schwinn LeTour.
You'll love this Miyata. Its a FAST, steel framed road bike with the nicest downtube shifters ever used.

Looks almost identical to this one, they're highly sought after-

10% of the sale of this bus will be going to Eddie. Here's his GoFundMe-

We went out to the bus today and did some work. We may go back later on, too.
It was a bit rainy, didn't get any pics yet. But we wire brushed the few spots of surface rust on the rear of the bus and treated them with Rust Reformer.
It wasn't anything serious, Just some surface rust and a bit of scale. Knocked that out in about fifteen mins.
We didn't plan on it, but we figured we'd kill some time and get our minds off all the sadness of the weekend.
