Did I miss it, or is there critical info missing, like what drivetrain is in it?

As a trucker, I'm going to chime in here on the engine... There may be some parts that the 3406 and C-7 share, and the C-7 may even share some architecture with the 3406, but it is NOT a 3406. Caterpillar offerings in buses include the C-7 / 3116 / 3126, I don't believe you will find or ever hear of a factory 3406 in a skoolie. Much bigger, heavier, and capable engine.

The sticker states it’s a 3406 C7.

If you zoom in the factory sticker says its a 3126.
Someone wrote 3406 in sharpie.
If you look at the pic from the engine from above looking down you'll see its a 3126. A 3406 would be HUGE in that engine bay and would have two valve covers.

EC is right and the 3126 was a very common (and solid) engine in these GMC chassis of this year

If it did in fact have a 3406 I'd send a deposit for the bus today.

someone didnt sharpie the label, they edited the pic.. the other pic of the label in the ad is clean.. would a 3406 even fit in a dognose chassis like that?
