2002 39ft Blue Bird Handy Bus 5.9 24 valve Cummins
Selling a 2002 Blue Bird Handy Bus. 39ft 72 passenger. has only 75,110 miles. Recently came from a school district so maintenance had to be kept up. Has the 24 valve Cummins engine which is easily tuned for more horsepower and torque at any knowledge diesel performance shop. Currently bus will run 65mph. Has an allison automatic transmission. Has a fully operational wheel chair lift on the right side at the rear of the bus. Has a total of 6 UNDERBODY STORAGE BINS a very nice feature for lots of storage. 4 storage compartments are 46" wide 20" tall and 27" deep and the other 2 are 35" wide 18" tall and 25" deep. All tires are radials and of exceptable tread depths. Tread depths are driver side front 10/32 passenger side front 12/32 driver side rear 12/32 and passenger side rear 6/32. The wheel base of this unit is 216". Other features include cruise control tilt steering column 4 wheel disc hydraulic brakes heated mirrors block heater 2 pop up emergency exits in the roof and a 60 gallon fuel tank. This bus starts runs and functions as it should. It does have a few cosmetic flaws but it is 16 years old. Overall is in good condition and a great base to start a conversion off of. Was going to convert and decided to go a different route. Asking $5200 obo.
