2003 Freightliner FS65

I have a 2003 Freightliner FS65. Good runner with Cat 3126 7.2L engine and has an Allison 2500 PTS 5 speed automatic w/ overdrive. Recently had new alternator and belt installed when I picked the bus up. I will post ,more pictures next weekend when I get a chance to get out there where I have it parked.

Due to some changes in life situation, might need to sell bus, just looking see what interest there is. I'm contemplating enlisting to Air Force Officer Candidacy program, so I can go to Pilot School as I already have a bachelors degree, so that would mean i'd be in the Active Military and not Reserves or guard, so no time to do anything. and needing to move anyways at some point...

All i've done is replace the AM/FM radio. thats about it. I also have a part I bought from Allison to replace the Transmission speed sensor (the part that communicates between the transmission and the speedometer. its an easy fix.. part was only 18 bucks.

Looking for $2200 obo.... Its located in the vicinity of Marshfield, Wisconsin.

I just bought it back in September. Have unsigned title, so all you have to do is sign on the part that is the buyer part as the previous owner (bus company ) signed their part. I havent signed it yet, so easily transferrable. I also have a bill of sale showing I purchased the bus from them.

How are the tires?

What size are they?

Also what's the mileage/hours?

Thanks

tires 11r22.5 front are good... rear tires are meh... miles is roughly 205,600 i drover bus well over 200 miles from where i bought it and she ran like a top.. lots of power and its be degoverned by the company i bought it from so no worrying about being stuck at 55-65 easily caught myself doing close to 85 without much effort

ALSO VERY LITTLE BODY RUST.. underbody appears to have been coated with rubberize rust inhibitor like underbody coating

Please post pics

Perhaps posting pics is problematic, but doing so provides particular points to ponder as we peruse posted pics.
Thanks

I will take more pics this weekend, if the weather permits travel to storage location. Past few days weather has been not good for traveling out and about.

Exclamation photos

here are photos... sorry for the delay.. crappy weather we've been having and then the trifecta of having some car troubles precluded me from visiting where I have it parked until now.

It started right up on the first try after sitting through a couple weeks of the past really cold weather we've had in Wisconsin from when I last started it up for a while to run it and check the batteries.

willing to discuss price.. located in Central Wisconsin, willing to deliver it.

decided not to do what i said, but I am moving to Minnesota this summer for a different job opportunity, so won't be able to continue the project at the present, when I get settled over in Minnesota, going to look for another bus after I get into a house hopefully, where I can work on it next to where I'm living, vs having to drive a distance..

Current plans changed, so yea... Bus has a new Alternator and New Belt that was put on when I got the bus back in Sept 2018. Replaced the stock non cd radio with a new radio with mp3 cd/aux out on front. (candidate for hooking siriusxm up to via aux port!)
