40’ 1998 Crown by Carpenter for sale

I have a 98 Crown by Carpenter I am interested in selling. 40’ long, 40k original miles verified via carfax, completely gutted and ready to start building it out. Cummins 5.9 engine and Allison 6 speed automatic transmission, air ride and new Koni shocks. All engine and chassis components have been recently serviced. Metal floor has been treated and sealed. Roof sealed with Henry’s tropicool. New Michelin tires and aluminum wheels. New RV style rear view mirrors. New hatches and a new Maxxair fan installed. New LED tail and front turn lights (flashers removed and holes patched). Air ride captain chair. New front brakes, starter and battery 2 years ago.

I only want out of it close to what I have in it, $15k. New aluminum wheels and Michelin tires were $7000. $2500 for the bus, $4500 for all the service I had done and $1000 for rear view mirrors. (Plus at least $2k in coatings/sealants and other parts, $1k for shocks).

This bus glides down the road (air ride+shocks) and I have had it up to 90 mph on the open highway (6th gear unlocked).

This bus is literally ready to start your build out.

Direct message and let me know if you are interested. Pictures available on request.
DALLAS TX area, clear title as a Motor Bus.

I'm not in the market, but it doesn't sound unreasonable for what all you've done with it.
Good write up, but you're more liable to get some nibbles if there are pix already accompanying the post...
Good luck to ya!

Kudos for filling out your profile first.
Mileage seems suspect, can it be verified?
Yes, post pics here.

Just an FYI, Users need 6 posts before they can post pictures directly (links will still work.) It's a little annoying for some new people trying to make a sale post.

I forgot to mention the frame is a Spartan, high quality on many high end RV’s.

Pictures added

Floor has been wire brushed to metal removing surface rust (luckily all it was), cleaned, sealed twice with POR-15 and twice with a rubberized coating, there will be mo moisture ever touching the sub floor.
I also added sound dampener to all steel panels from the inside.

Let me know if there are any questions or interest.

Just curious, isn't this a rear engine bus? The presence of a back emergency door suggests it is not but there also doesn't seem to be enough grillwork up front to suggest there's an engine up there or if there is it must not need air.

Look at pic #4, clearly shows it's not rear engine. But looking at pic#3, it looks like a short door on a modified back end. Exhaust out through the bumper suggests no motor behind it.

the big vent on the driver's side made me wonder if it was a mid engine, then interior shots show a clean deck, no motor - curiouser and curiouser
