97 International DT466 Partial Conv 123k $11K
This skoolie to be is clean, runs great, and is on its way to being an epic space for adventures! No rust, frame fully treated, cosmetic changes made. Detachable air conditioning unit, generator, and small inverter to run a laptop installed. Appliances and cabinets included. Entire mechanical system serviced less than 1k miles ago. ‘Immaculate’ in the words of the mechanic! Has the DT466 engine and Allison transmission, automatic chains, air ride seat, and even a sound system with aux. Just needs someone with plumbing and electrical skills to finish it off. Contact Jack for more info. Love2bond007@gmail.com

Another 1st poster with no contact info.
If it were not in the classifieds I would not be sure if it was a sale ad.

Yes, I’m aware of that. I need to check the title for specifics and then I will update the thread.

It's an important thing most people looking will ask you.

There should be a tag on the transmission with the model number.
Or, you could call your local dealer with the VIN and they can tell you all about your bus. Including engine horsepower, transmission model and rear end ratio. All good information to have on hand for potential buyers.

Check the tranny first (in case it has been changed out at some point). Allisons all have an ID tag like the one below. Mine was on the passenger side. Course, unless new, it will probably be covered up in grease & oil.
Everything you need to know you can get from Allison thru the tag.

When I went to multiple school districts, they didn't know the transmission type either, just "it's an Allison".
When I climbed up under every single one, not only did the tag show what the above image does, but it also said the type right on there - the darn 545 for every one.
So at least for some it seems, the transmission type will also be on the badge.
