Hello to all (I was MIA for a bit due to changing my email and not updating my contact info, sorry about that....)
We recently moved across country, and I was using this bus as a moving van. Due to a failing PS pump and multiple overheat episodes, I killed the 8.3 Cummins powerplant.
The bus is in Grandview, WA, 40 miles from Yakima. It will reluctantly run, but I'm sure it has scored cylinder walls/scuffed pistons/stuck rings. It will need slugs and liners at least.
It has, as noted, an 8.3L Cummins with a BRAND new turbo. near new tires all around, 5 speed Allison, 5 stage retarder, 100W solar panel with charge controller, good batteries (3 8D's as I recall), winter package with insulated walls and ceiling. Flooring was insulated with 1/2" foam board and decked with 1/2" OSB. 60 gal fresh water tank, 110V dorm fridge, underbody LP tank plumbed to a RV 4 burner range/oven and radiant LP heater. Shore power cord connected to a small RV AC distribution center with one AC plug and DC converter. Re-titled as a motorhome with a clear Colorado title.
The bus will have to be towed. I MAY be able to assist thru AAA up to 100 miles.
The rig is in a tow company storage area, and needs to be moved soon. The tow company has been super helpful and has a lowboy trailer, and can haul it, depending on their (or your) schedule.
This is an awesome deal for someone. Tires alone are worth 1200 bucks.

I will do my best to keep this thread updated. I'd like to see it go within a couple weeks at the most.
