AC to DC converter

I have a barley used 110 volt AC to 12 volt dc charger and converter in one. This is the one they sale at Camping world rated at 55amp. Not sure how they have it listed for but I will take half of what they sale them for.

With 3 stage charging that should be a good buy for someone.

Am I understanding this correctly? This is designed to charge house batteries when connected to shore power? (120v AC) Is that all it is used for, or are there other uses for it as well?

I am interested either way

It'll 3 stage charge up your batteries and run your household 12v stuff at the same time up to it's amp limit.
