Advice on Price Needed...Please Help

I know its hard to make a price without looking but I found a bus for sale in Arizona....

Tell me what you all think.....

Its listed for 8K but he said he will take 6k. I think that might still be too high....

OK...its a:
2001 Thomas
Cummins 5.9 Engine
Allison MD3060 Transmission
34 feet long
179,000 miles
Good Tires
School district certified in 2008
Little bit of rust where seats were bolted to floor but I suppose tats not a big deal since ill be converting it....

So what do you all think this is worth????

Nothing wrong with a 5.9 when it's backed by a 3060. Has the interior been stripped to see the metal floor? Should be minor if from Az.
Personally I would not pay more than $3500 for that bus, others would. He's still about $2K high.

Search here for the threads on "where to purchase a bus". Check the, government auctions, Govdeals.com, public surplus.com, etc.

That same setup is on Public Surplus. There have been a few out there. They go for fairly cheap at the auctions. For that price I'd INSIST on an 8.3.

Yeah, $8K is unreasonable for a Cummins 5.9. A little too much bus for the motor.
