Anyone have experience with Midwest Transit?

While hunting for a bus in my meager budget, i discovered midwesttransit.com, they have really good pricing on buses, almost too good. Has anyone ever used them or heard anything? I was watching an auction and it ended today, went from within my budget to double in about 3 hours

Strangely enough buses are selling for pretty high prices down south. If you're willing to take the risk and drive it home there are a number of states where buses sell at lower prices. Usually on Public Surplus, GovLiquidation or other auction sites that sell for the bus barns. Choose states that don't use salt.

I've also been looking at Midwest Transit a lot, driving far for a bus is probably not an option for me and they have several locations pretty close to me. Their prices are in my range. Well, once I find a job again and get back to work and sell my classic car their prices will be in my range. Anyone else want to reiterate on experience with Midwest Transit? I've been digging through threads and found a few comments by CaptSquid and dammitAndy recommending them... I found one post where some salesman named Tom Buleh? (spelled wrong I'm sure, sorry)

I'm a little surprised, I guess skoolies aren't as much a thing around in my area? Come on guys, anyone else like Midwest Transit?

Tom is in the Whitestown, Indiana office. I briefly spoke to him when i went to look at a 2002 IC RE a few months back.

He wasn't surprised at all when I told him I was looking to convert a bus to a skoolie.

Some of the bigger dealers get so many in on trade that they're usually willing to cut a deal just to get em off the lot.

I've heard of that. I still haven't figured out the distinction between the good resellers and the outrageous resellers. Price is a good indication I guess. Value is where you find it.

I have purchased parts from them for my 1998 Bluebird TC2000. They have been very helpfull.
