[Atlanta] Armored Step Van

I know this isn't a skoolie, but I thought it might be useful here. Maybe someone has a friend looking for a step van or maybe someone realized a Step Van might be a cool ass idea.

That would be a terrible candidate for anything unless you have a need for the armored part.
It's heavy, probably north of 17,000 #s. Because of that it will get terrible fuel mileage. Probably also be hard to modify.
I'm pretty sure a NPR is a tilt cab. This sure don't look like it does, maintenance would be a bitch. Look at the entrance doors.
Why is it in Houston Craigslist and heading say (Atlanta)?

I agree with you. It would be super heavy and awkward. But, you could replace the check out window with actual windows. And the insulation is probably awesome from the armor and security is a check. Also it comes with electricity installed and a bathroom. Also I've noticed lots of people in Texas posting in California and stuff like that. It gets confusing.

The armor plating is just adding more steel to it - making a thicker tin can. If anything, it's more mass to act as a heat sync - it would be even worse to deal with the thermal transfer.

Also, those check cashing windows are set for the height of people standing on the ground outside the truck - so they're going to be low for anyone inside the truck. With the extra armor, good luck cutting any new ones.
